Two of a kind
As from the beginning of the academic year of
2009-2010 the courses of
International
Business and Languages (IBL) and
International Business and Management Studies (IBMS)
at Zuyd University will start an intensive
co-operation by offering a joint study programme to
all new first-year students. This co-operation will
result in a merger of both courses into a new,
four-year Bachelor’s degree course of International
Business (IB). In order to make this course accessible to students
from all over the world, all classes are taught
either in the English language or in Dutch.
News! Maastricht IBL programme nr. 1 in The
Netherlands
Zuyd
University's
International Business & Languages (IBL)
programme was elected the best in The Netherlands by
Elsevier magazine in their theme issue 'Studeren'
(oktober 2009) . The Elsevier ranking is based on
research by Researchnet in Nijmegen. Dutch students
were asked to answer questions on 28 aspects of
their study programme. The Maastricht IBL programme
excelled in for example quality of the teaching
materials, the opportunities to study abroad en the
pratically oriented study programme. The avarage
score on all items was a 7,3. More detailed
