These assignments and/or research projects, which require a strong theoretical basis, need an international dimension.

The internship in the third year will always take place abroad, the one in the fourth year can take place abroad or at an international company or institution in The Netherlands.

    Study abroad
In their third year of studies, all students of International Business can participate in an international study exchange at one of our many partner universities abroad. This study abroad semester greatly contributes to the international orientation that our graduates develop.

In order to enable you to take part in these exchanges, Zuyd University of Applied Sciences has signed many bilateral agreements with partner universities in the European Union and Turkey. Zuyd also participates in the Magellan Exchange programme, a consortium of EU and US/Mexican universities. As a result of these agreements, students can study abroad without paying extra tuition fees to the foreign university. Classes are chosen by the students and approved by the head of the department (on the basis of a learning agreement). Credits obtained abroad are recognized and transferred to the International Business programme. The European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) guarantees a smooth transfer process.

You will find the list of all our partner universities here: Partner universities IB  en Partner universities IB via Magellan.
